Relationship Coaching Do you ever have the feeling your partner does not understand you? Or that you live in different worlds and speak different languages? Do you have the feeling that you are stuck in a role in your relationship? Are your biggest fears limiting your relationship and your dreams turn into disappointments? Find out how Relationship Coaching can improve the communication and understanding between you and your partner. What is Relationship Coaching? No person is living in isolation. We are all part of a bigger system consisting of many relationships such as family, friends, business etc. These interconnected systems influence each other in a way that when one gets affected the whole system is impacted. The Relationship Coach addresses these relationships between the individuals rather than the individuals itself (which is the case in the Co-Active Life Coaching) and helps to unfold the potential of the relationship system no matter if it is a romantic partnership, friendship, a team or simply a business partnership. The relationship coach helps to create a healthy environment for the existing system by revealing the system to itself- its strengths, its challenges and potential. Through the coaching the partners of the system will become aware of what the system wants (what is trying to happen), how it can flourish and live to its best potential. It is important to recognize that there are overlaps in the disciples of couple therapy, counseling and coaching and at the same time to distinguish such differences. Coaching is not therapy. While relationship therapy is more apt to view clients from a medical view focusing on healing with the emphasis on past and historical issues in the relationship, couple/partner coaching views both parties as creative resourceful and whole and does not diagnose. Both therapy and counseling works with internal issues and holds the individuals as client. Coaching is solution oriented and is focused on evolving potential. As a result of relationship coaching, couples/partners experience higher positivity, better communication (without blame and defensiveness), increased understanding of each other and better alignment when faced with issues or challenges. How does it work? All partners or members of the system need to be present during the coaching sessions. One of the important rules of Relationship Coaching is the “No Secrets” rule between the partners and the coach. If you would like to experience what relationship coaching is, you can book a free consultation with us. To book a session simply phone, email or fill out our registration form and your coach will contact you to schedule an appointment. The consultation is not binding and is free of charge. Upon completion of the consultation session, you can decide to proceed with the sessions and book your first appointment with your coach to assess your relationship. The assessment is a one hour session to discover the current status of your relationship. During this session your coach will reveal the strengths and challenges of your relationship and present a coaching plan how to proceed to work with these issues. Depending on the suggested duration of your coaching agreement, your coach will guide you through a series of sessions using various tools and educational training. |
